Is Easter a Religious Holiday?
Interesting thoughts on Easter in this article. What are people learning in church if only 80% of church goers consider Easter a religious holiday and 55% of church goers can identify it as an occasion relating to the resurrection?
We are a family who have fallen into the world of liturgical design and are loving it! We would go to school forever if someone else would pay for it, so endulge us when this becomes our academic theory playground. We live in Austin (mom&dad), Dallas (daughter), Chicago (son) and attend or work for United Methodist Churches. We each have very active roles in the design of the worship services of our churches (and sometimes others) varying from preaching, visual, choral, band to overall coordination. We hope you find some ideas to take to your own worship practice or simply find your concept of liturgical possibilities broadened and challenged.
